Pietro "Peter" Di Marco

Not much is known about Pietro “Peter” Di Marco. I believe he is the son of Raffaele “Ralph” Di Marco and was born in the town of Alife in the agricultural region to the north of Naples, Italy. Peter is believed to be a brother to Marcellino Di Marco - but whether he is a full brother, a step-brother who took the Di Marco surname, or a half-brother from his father’s second marriage is unknown. Marcellino immigrated to the United States in 1903, settled in western Pennsylvania, and is better known to us as Charles DeMarc Sr. It is said that Charles had a brother who lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and if that is true Peter is probably that brother. It seems likely that Peter lived in the United States, but whether he stayed here for good or returned to Italy is not known.
