Charles plucking a chicken in his back yard circa mid to late 1930's.	Charles and Mary look happy in this photo.	One of the best photos I have. Charles and Mary relaxing in front of the bake house. Taken sometime after Lou's death in August 1944 the toll of the last few years in clearly evident on both of them - particularly in Mary's weathered face. The knee of a man is visible to right so perhaps a small family gathering is taking place. Wish I could hear that conversation. c1945.
